This 16x20in painting captures the bold, graphic aesthetic of the Canadian wilderness, heavily influenced by the Group of Seven style. The piece features a solitary, wind-swept pine tree on a rocky, pebbled shoreline, overlooking a deep blue lake and distant hills. The dramatic, stylized clouds in shades of teal and light blue dominate the sky, indicating a storm about to sweep the channel.
